IFS is proud to be an independent and not-for-profit school. We are accredited with the Department of Children, Youth Families (DYFS) and as we grow the elementary/middle school, we will apply to become a Northwest Association of Independent Schools (NWAIS) school.

We opened in fall, 2018 with a pre-school and pre-kindergarten class and we will grow a grade a year until 8th grade.

At International Friends School we create habits of strong heart and mind through Quaker education in a modern, immersive, multilingual environment. Our students have the character, communication skills and cultural competency to meaningfully participate as world citizens.
