Join your neighbors at the annual picnic while enjoying good food  and great company! 

The picnic will be on Saturday, September 6th  from 3:00pm - 6:30pm at the Kelsey Creek Park Picnic Shelter.

The WCA will provide beverages and grilled hot dogs – please bring a potluck dish to share! We will have kid activities, a raffle, and City Council members and candidates, Bellevue Police, and Bellevue Fire Department (if not on a call), Eastrail, League of Women Voters, and more...

The Wilburton Community Association will hold its annual election of board officers at the WCA General Meeting.  The slate of candidates are below and nominations will also be taken at the picnic. Members are encouraged to vote with the ballot below or at www.wilburton.org. 

Slate of Officers:

President—David Cagle: My wife Peggy and I moved to Wilburton 25 years ago. Before moving here, we both lived in Seattle which is where we met. I moved to Seattle after graduating from The Ohio State University with a BSEE. Since moving to PNW, I have worked for many different local tech firms as an electronics engineer. After 35+ years in engineering, I decided to try something different and now I teach high school math. I enjoy outdoor activities but my knees & hips only allow hiking and biking now. Peggy & I love our

neighbors and neighborhood; you can often find Peggy and I walking our dog Peyton in our local parks.

Vice-president— LeeAnn Guidotti: I have lived in Wilburton since 1998 with my husband, Tony. We have two teenagers and two dogs. Tony and I work together as real estate agents with Windermere Real Estate. I have been a volunteer with the WCA for several years and have helped with organizing the annual picnic. I love the Wilburton community and appreciate the opportunity to help make it a great neighborhood!

Treasurer— Jim Duong: A Wilburton resident since 2009, Jim can be sighted walking through the various Wilburton trails. Jim and his family take full advantage of our PNW summers and are often outdoors for activities like hiking, swimming and biking (plus taking on a new hobby - Pickleball). Professionally, Jim works with local Enterprise Organizations providing Technology Advisory, Products & Services. Jim has been our WCA Treasurer since 2016.

City Council to Consider New Speed Camera Locations The City of Bellevue is advancing efforts to improve traffic safety by expanding its use of speed safety cameras, in alignment with new state legislation that allows for broader use. Transportation planners will consider crash data and community input before recommending any new locations for cameras to the City Council. Community members are encouraged to share their feedback by completing a questionnaire now available on the city’s Engaging Bellevue platform.
